Team lost NCA due to judging mistakes
NCA/Varsity has apologized for a scoring mistake at NCA Nationals which took place two weeks ago.
The letter details that Pittsburgh Superstars - Supermodels (who got 2nd place in the International Open level 6 division) wouldāve won if the judging mistakes werenāt made:
Remember last year when this happened at The Summit? or this year with Cheer Athletics Cheetahs?
It also says that Supermodels will NOT be named/recognized as Champions or āCo-championsā in the division. They will however get a refund for their NCA registration feesā¦
Then the same thing happened at UCAā¦
Guess what? It didnāt stop thereā¦ The exact same thing happened this weekend at UCA.
This time, it was Legacy from Infinity Allstars (international open small coed 7) who lost because of a missed deduction. Instead, they ended up in 2nd place after Top Gun Allstars - Guardians.
In addition, Legacy also lost the Triple Crown (learn what it is here) Champions title. Their UCA win would have made them Triple Crown Champions since they won Cheersport Nationals and NCA.
They are currently not listed as or recognized as Champions, āCo-championsā or Triple Crown winners.

How does that even happen?
Article exposes banned USASF coaches breaking the rules
āFITSNewsā have been investigating and reporting on the Rockstar Cheer scandal and the latest cheer lawsuits. Theyāve published a new article, investigating how banned USASF coaches can break the rules, apparently without any consequences.
Here are some parts of the article:
āThe USASF/ USA Cheer ineligible list ā which you can view here ā is intended to keep track of industry participants who have been charged with (or convicted of) crimes. It is also intended to track coaches, choreographers and other adults who have engaged in (ā¦) any action of misconduct ā¦ determined to not serve the (sportās) best interests.āĀ Ā
Unfortunately, eligibility restrictions for those who break the rules are not being enforced.ā
It specifically details the owner & founder of the Cheer Savannah gym in Georgia, Stephanie Britt:
āShe landed on the permanently ineligible list in late February 2023 after a lengthy investigation by USASF.
Numerous parents reported seeing Stephanie Britt interacting with child athletes at Cheer Savannah just days after her ineligibility was announced ā a clear violation of industry rules.
Despite her placement on the USASFās permanent ineligibility list, sources have reported Britt was spotted again this weekend at the 9 Panel Lowcountry Showdown competition in Charleston, S.C.
Britt and others on the ineligible lists are allowed to attend events so long as they do not enter the warm-up area which is restricted to eligible coaches, gym owners and athletes. She is also restricted from having interaction with child athletes while in attendance.
Based on images posted on social media by parents, this rule appears to have been violated ā¦ā
