Last day of Worlds recap
When writing last week's newsletter, Worlds hadn't ended yet. Here's what else happened after the newsletter was sent:
The Stingray Allstars Orange went back to back and won the Large Senior division. Not only did they win two years in a row, but they also won their 10th (!!) Worlds gold.
Fun fact: No other team has won Worlds more times than Orange. See their incredible 10 wins below:

Top Gun Allstars took home the most Worlds globes out of all gyms, with 6 in total. Following them was Cheer Extreme with 5, then GymTyme Allstars, The Stingray Allstars & The California Allstars with 4 globes each.
3 years after they were last able to attend Worlds, Vancouver Allstars competed with 5 teams. 4 teams made finals and it resulted in 3 Worlds globes! International teams are BACK, people 🥳
Top Gun TGLC took home the title of Grand Champions(not a real title or award, but always fun to see who gets the highest score). They scored 147.05 out of 150 and beat Smoed who was in the lead when we sent last week's newsletter (with 148.10 out of 160).
The Summit recap
Here are some Summit moments!
As we discussed last week, a team was disqualified from Worlds. Then a team got disqualified from The Summit as well. After semi-finals, Cheer Athletics Sabers (Medium Senior level 2) were in first place, but they were disqualified before finals. Click here to read their statement about what happened.
Zodiac Allstars (have you seen this incredible stunt?) from England won 2 gold medals, in the U19 level 1 and U17 level 1 divisions.
Some teams were left without medals because the medals "ran out"before all awards were held...The response given was that "other athletes stole them". As it turns out, this is not a unique situation since people are waiting for medals, banners, etc. from years ago. Something's not right...
The highest Summit score/Grand Champion title went to The California Allstars BlackJacks (Small Coed level 4), with a score of 99.50!
🧐 Confused about the U17, U19, etc. division names? Click here to read about the changes.
