We had 3 major Varsity lawsuit updates
Including claims against Varsity’s founder Jeff Webb, Bain Capital (Varsity’s owner), and a possible trial date in 2024.

Increased pricing for The Summit & D2 Summit 2024 was announced
Prices have increased, starting at $739/person for the ‘2 Night Hotel Travel Package’ (compared to $698 the year before):
Speaking of pricing, Varsity’s announced a new “Spring Break Performance“
If you aren’t tired of Disney World and willing to pay $999 or more, this might be for you!
And guess what? Another lawsuit dropped against Varsity, USASF & others
Why? They're accusing these companies/organizations, especially Varsity, of having a monopoly on cheerleading and using unfair tactics to maintain their power.
Andy Simon’s YouTube channel was brought back!
Under some specific conditions though…
Final decision: Cheerleading will not be in the 2028 Olympics
The International Olympic Committee accepted five new sports for the 2028 Games - and cheerleading was not one of them.
To close out October, we had another lawsuit against USASF, Varsity & others

Navarro coach Monica was removed from the “Ineligibility List“
After investigations failed to provide proof to support the claims.
FloSports settled a $2.6 million lawsuit & you could still get money back!
The deadline to do this is January 25.
A possible sale of Varsity Brands (at a $6 billion valuation) was announced

And we saw some cheerleading at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

Navarro Cheer coach Monica announced that she’s quitting
After a turbulent period with lots of legal problems, it was now confirmed that Monica is resigning as the Navarro Cheer coach.
