The season has flown by and things are about to get real hectic…But before that, let’s break down what has happened this week:

FloSports Raises New Funds & Expands Smart TV Access
📰 The news: FloSports (yep, the live-streaming platform that brings you all those cheer comps and more) just made two big announcements:
They’re teaming up with Accedo, a global tech company that builds streaming apps, to expand the FloSports Smart TV app to even more platforms like Samsung and LG.
They also raised a new round of funding—led by Dream Sports, a major sports tech company from India—bringing FloSports’ total funding to over $100 million.
🌟 Why it matters: FloSports streamed over 40,000 live events last year, covering sports like wrestling, motorsports, track—and of course, cheer.
This expansion means more people will be able to watch cheer events directly on their Smart TVs, with better quality and easier access.
The new investment will help FloSports grow its content, upgrade its technology, and reach more fans around the world. With Dream Sports bringing deep experience in fan engagement and digital platforms, FloSports is in a strong position to keep improving.
📅 What’s next: We can hopefully expect things like more cheer (and other sports) events added to the platform, a better viewing experience & more visibility for cheer!

💙 Fundraiser for Cheer Photographer's Cancer Battle
“This GoFundMe aims to cover his piling medical expenses, lost wages, and ensure he has the time and support needed to heal after surgery and subsequent therapy. His family, which includes an allstar cheerleader, needs their father by their side—not weighed down by financial stress, but focused on fighting this battle and being there for the moments that matter most so he can get back in front of the mats where he belongs.“
